Data Recovery Pricing Tiers

Below are our common pricing tiers. Prices below are for drives that we can recover 98-100% of your data. If we are unable to recover ANY of your data, there is no data recovery fee, just pay return shipping (and any disassembly/reassembly fees.) If we are unable to recover more than 98% of your data, we will contact you and inform you of approximately how much data we can recover and offer you that data at a reduced fee. You can agree to the reduced fee for the partial recovery at that time or you can simply refuse the recovery and only pay a small fee of $99 along with any return shipping fees. (and any disassembly/reassembly fees.)

Tier One

Start Recovery

This is the most common tier, most bare drives sent in fall under this category. Possible scenarios for Tier One are; Power Surge, Formatted Drive Recovery, Erased Drive Recovery, Computer Not Powering On Recovery, Cracked Screen Data Recovery, Hard Drive Starting To Fail Recovery.

Tier Two

Start Recovery

Possible scenarios for Tier Two are; Your failed drive is larger than 2 Terabytes, Your drive is smaller than 2 Terabytes but does not detect and needs firmware repair to recover your data or your drive contains a USB interface (some external drives have usb interfaces built onto the hard drive inside them and require a special adapter).

Tier Three

Possible scenarios for Tier Three are; your drive is smaller than 2 Terabytes and is encrypted with disk encryption such as FileVault, Bitlocker, McAfee Endpoint, Truecrypt or is an external Western Digital Drive labeled "My Book" or "My Passport" (These drives are encrypted and have no way to disable it) or your encrypted drive does not detect and need firmware repair to recover your data.

Computer Disassembly/Reassembly Fee

Not sure how to remove your drive from your computer? Ship the computer/laptop to us and we will remove the drive for you and even offer to install the new drive with a new install of your operating system along with your recovered data onto the recovery drive and put it back into your computer for you. This way you have a running computer with your data when we return your computer. (We are only able to reinstall your recovery drive with an operating system if your computer is functioning and just the drive failed.)
